The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine recommends removing registration as IDPs for receiving pensions. This was stated by head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Fraser at a press conference in Kyiv, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to the report of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission, presented on Tuesday, 700 thousand pensioners lost access to pensions as a result of the conflict.
"This is a direct result of the state policy, when access to pensions is tied to registration as IDPs and verification procedure that follows from this tying in. Our recommendation remains unchanged - the tying in of access to pensions to registration as IDPs should be immediately canceled", - Fiona Fraser stated.
