The Central Election Commission has approved the list of districts in which the presidential election will be held on March 31, 2019. This is stated in the decision of the CEC, which was posted on the commission's website on February 12, - Radio Liberty reports.
According to the document, election procedures will not take place in the occupied Crimea, and electoral districts and district election commissions are not being formed on the territory of the autonomy and in the city of Sevastopol.
"No election commissions are being formed on the territory of Donetsk oblast, which is recognized as occupied, out of 21 electoral districts, the election will be held in 12 electoral districts on the territory of Donetsk oblast… In the territory of Lugansk oblast, the election will be held in 6 electoral districts, which fall outside the concept of occupied territories, out of 11", - the decision of the CEC said.
According to the CEC decision, 200 electoral districts will be created on the territory of Ukraine, taking into account the foreign electoral district. There will be 29 848 polling stations.
The election of the President of Ukraine will take place on March 31. The Central Election Commission completed the registration of candidates on February 8, making 44 people on the list, - the report noted.
