Head of Kherson regional council Manher served with charges of organizing Kateryna Handziuk's murder

Chairman of the Kherson regional council Vladyslav Manher was announced suspicion of organizing the murder of activist Kateryna Handziuk. This was reported on Facebook by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.

"Citizen V. Manher has been served with charge papers as an organizer of the assassination of Kateryna Handziuk", - he wrote.

As previously reported, in Kherson on July 31, 2018, the unknown person splashed sulfuric acid in the face of activist and mayor's assistant Kateryna Handziuk. The woman died on November 4 after numerous operations.

Recently, Viktor Handziuk, father of the deceased, stated at a meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission that the organizer of Kateryna's murder allegedly collaborated with head of the regional council Vladyslav Manher.

On Saturday, bureau of the Kherson regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Union Batkivshchyna announced that head of the Kherson regional council Vladyslav Manher was expelled from the ranks of party members and it was recommended him to resign from the post of head of the regional council.
