EU high-ranking officials were amazed at the condition of the highway leading to Mariupol. This was reported on Facebook by the press attache of the EU representative office in Ukraine David Stulik.

He posted a video, which shows that because of the numerous pits on the highway, the cars were constantly forced to drive on the oncoming lane.

"Driving on the left side. In the UK? No! This is the main road to Mariupol and the first thing that the high-level EU fact-finding mission to the Azov Sea region has noticed", - David Stulik noted

Let us recall that a group of high-ranking officials of the European Union visits the areas of Ukraine adjacent to the Sea of Azov in the period from January 27 to February 2.

The main goal of the EU high-level mission is to assess the economic, social and political situation in the region which has significantly affected the inspection regime introduced by Russia at the Sea of Azov.
