Petro Poroshenko states his intention to run for president for a second term

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has officially announced his intention to run for a second presidential term. He stated this today during the forum titled: "From Kruty to Brussels. We are going our way".

"The feeling of deep responsibility before the country, before the contemporaries, before the past and future generations impelled me to run for the office of President of Ukraine again", - he said.

"I ask the voters for a mandate to guarantee the irreversibility of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, to guarantee the irreversibility of our independence, to restore the country's territorial integrity, to bring Ukraine a favorable to Ukraine peace, to complete the construction of a strong and successful state", - Poroshenko added.
