Residents of the villages of Travneve and Hladosove, which were returned under the control of Ukraine at the end of November 2017, are faced with problems of water supply and access to medical services. This is reported by the Right to Protection charity fund.

Yesterday on January 17, the team of Sloviansk office of the Right to Protection charity fund made a visit to the residents of Travneve and Hladosove.

"These settlements are located directly on the contact line, so travel to them is limited, - representative of the Right to Protection charity fund Volodymyr Oriekhov told. - There are no infrastructure facilities in the settlements. There are problems with water supply, drinking water is delivered once a week. There are problems with the access to medical services as well: the ambulance and the doctor do not attend the people, and the medical worker from the Novoluhanske settlement receives citizens in Travneve only twice a week".

During the monitoring visit, residents of these settlements addressed the monitors of the Right to Protection charity fund for advice on topical issues: receiving targeted assistance to internally displaced persons, paying off pension arrears and other issues related to the conflict.
