116 apartments were purchased for displaced persons from the occupied Donbass last year. This was stated at the press conference "Results of activities of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories in 2018" in Kyiv today by Head of the Department for Internally Displaced Persons and Humanitarian Cooperation of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Kalupakha

"116 apartments for IDPs were purchased in Mariupol, Rodynske, Zolote, Popasna, Velyka Novosilka, Pokrovsk, Lyman and Kryvyi Rih. $2 million were spent for this", - she said.

The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories also noted that a little more than 400 displaced persons were provided with temporary housing.

According to the Ministry of Social Policy, as of January 14, 2019, 1 512 303 IDPs from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and Autonomous Republic of Crimea are registered in Ukraine. Thus, housing (acquired and given temporary) is provided to a little more than 0.034% of those in need.
