The Lefortovo Court of Moscow has extended the arrest of all 24 Ukrainian captive seamen for three months. This is reported by UNIAN.

The terms of arrest of another four Ukrainian captive seamen was extended at today's meeting. The arrest was extended to Volodymyr Lisovyi, Viktor Bespalchenko, Volodymyr Varimez and Vladyslav Kostyshyn until April 24.

In the morning of November 25, 2018, Russia blocked the passage to the Kerch Strait for Yany Kapu tugboat and Berdiansk and Nikopol motorboats, which carried out planned transition from Odessa to Mariupol. When leaving the Kerch Strait, Russian ships opened fire on the Ukrainian ships that were already returning to Odessa, having not received information about the possibility of passing through the strait. The occupiers captured 24 Ukrainian soldiers. Three of them were injured. Ukrainians were accused of illegally crossing the border of the Russian Federation (part 3 of article 322 of the Criminal Code of Russia, imprisonment for up to six years). All the prisoners were arrested in the Crimea by the so-called "court", after what they were sent to the Lefortovo and Matrosskaya Tishina pretrial detention facilities in Moscow.
