Two soldiers of Joint Forces injured in eastern Ukraine

Two soldiers of the United Forces were injured as a result of shelling by militants in the Donbass. This is reported by the press center of the JF.

Illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire in the Donbass on Sunday 14 times.

Shelling of the JF positions in the zone of action of the Vostok operational-tactical group was from large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the settlement of Krasnohorivka, twice from grenade launchers and small arms near the town of Avdiivka, three times from grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns near the village of Pisky, from large-caliber machine guns near the village of Opytne, from grenade launchers and small arms near the village of Lebedynske, from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the village of Hnutove and from large-caliber machine guns and small arms near the village of Berezove.

In the zone of action of the Sievier operational-tactical group, the militants fired at the JF positions from grenade launchers near Novhorodske settlement, from IFV-2 and large-caliber machine guns near the village of Novotoshkivske and from small arms in the area of disengagement of forces and assets of the parties near Stanytsia Luhanska.

"As a result of criminal and insidious attacks of the Russian occupation forces, one soldier of the Joint Forces was injured", - the report said.

In response to the provocations of the enemy, the Joint Forces' units used duty fire weapons.

According to intelligence data, on January 13, four militants were killed and three were injured, the enemy's multi-purpose light-armored towing vehicle was destroyed.

In the zone of action of the Vostok operational-tactical group during the current day, the illegal armed groups opened fire from large-caliber machine guns and small arms at the positions of the Ukrainian military in the area of Novomykhailivka settlement.

"One soldier of the Joint Forces was injured during this day", - the reports said.
