One of the soldiers of the 128th brigade disappeared in the area of the Joint Forces Operation and, possibly, was captured by the militants.

According to the press service of the 128th brigade, one of the servicemen disappeared on the night of December 28. The military prosecutor's office registered the relevant criminal proceedings on the same day.

Investigative activities were organized from the moment of the disappearance, which, as of 2.01.2019, came to nothing.

"Messages from the websites of the Russian occupation forces about the alleged offensive actions by the brigade units are fake and do not correspond not only to reality, but to common sense in general. The search for the serviceman is ongoing", - the report said.

At the same time, the "DNR" militants announced the capture of the Ukrainian soldier. "The prisoner was diagnosed with hypothermia, now he is provided with qualified medical assistance", – said the so-called "deputy head of the people's militia department of the DNR" Eduard Basurin, who is being quoted by the occupation media.

He also showed the assault rifle of the Ukrainian soldier.

The press service of the 128th brigade confirms that the number of the AKS-74U assault rifle shown on the network is really assigned to the missing serviceman.
