Donetsk "Governor-General" promises to find out why Metropolitan of UOC MP was not let out from CADO

Head of the Donetsk Regional Civil Military Administration Oleksandr Kuts intends to resolve the issue related to the denial of entry into the territory controlled by Ukraine to Metropolitan of Donetsk and Mariupol Hilarion. Kuts reported this on his Facebook.

"I read the appeal addressed to me by Metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, made public on the official website of the Donetsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate). I am deeply concerned about the situation. I intend to contact the appropriate authorities to find out all the circumstances and reasons that led to it and solve this question", - he wrote.

As previously reported, on December 7, an electronic pass through the line of demarcation was cancelled to the metropolitan Hilarion. As a result, on December 9, the border guards refused to allow him to leave the occupied territory of the Donetsk region. According to speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodian, the border guards acted on the basis of a decision of the Security Service of Ukraine.

After that, Metropolitan Hilarion addressed an open letter to head of the Donetsk Regional Civil Military Administration Oleksandr Kuts and asked him "to appeal to the leadership of the relevant specialized institutions of Ukraine, which the restoration of the ability" to freely cross the contact line depends on.
