More than 30 law enforcement officers suspected of crimes against Maidan continue to work in MIA system - PGOU

As of today, 33 law enforcement officers who have been declared suspected of having committed crimes against Maidan continue to work in the internal affairs bodies. This was announced at a briefing in Kyiv by head of the Office of Special Investigations of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine Serhiy Horbatiuk, - UNIAN reports.

"At the time of reporting suspicion on cases (of crimes against Maidan - ed.), 63 people were in the internal affairs bodies in the period of 2014-2018, later (some of them) resigned. Currently, 33 people continue to work, including those in respect of whom there are indictments in the court", - he stated.

He clarified that among these 33 law enforcement officers, 10 are senior officers and 23 are grassroots law enforcement officers.
