Deputies Boyko and Lyovochkin were expelled from Opposition Bloc faction

The Opposition Bloc faction in the Verkhovna Rada has excluded people's deputies Yuriy Boyko and Serhiy Lyovochkin from its membership. This was stated at the morning plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday by co-chairman of the faction Oleksandr Vilkul, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"I want to inform you that meeting of the Opposition Bloc faction ended half an hour ago, where Yuriy Boyko and Serhiy Lyovochkin were excluded from the faction's ranks", - O.Vilkul stated.

As previously reported, on November 9, co-chairman of the Opposition Bloc political party and parliamentary faction Yuriy Boyko and non-factional people's deputy, leader of the For Life party, Vadym Rabynovych signed an agreement to create the "For Life Opposition platform". On November 15, V.Rabynovych stated that he would not run for president of Ukraine, but would head the party list in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada in the autumn of 2019. The next day, he stated that Yuriy Boyko would be the only candidate from the "For Life Opposition platform" in the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine, scheduled for March 2019.
