Kremlin is sympathetic to the "elections" in the "DNR/LNR" – Peskov does not know whether Putin will congratulate the "winners"

The Kremlin is sympathetic to the elections in the Luhansk and Donetsk people's republics, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated, - Interfax reports.

Answering the question whether the President of the Russian Federation would congratulate Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, who allegedly won the illegal and falsified "elections" in the terrorist "DNR" and "LNR", Peskov said: "I know nothing about that".

"We are sympathetic to the fact of holding these elections", - he limited all talks about the possible recognition of results of the fake "elections" in the occupied Donbass.
