Border guards of the Donetsk detachment from the Joint Forces Operation stopped GAZ car, driven by a 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen, for inspection at the Novotroitske checkpoint. The car arrived at the entrance from the temporarily occupied territory and followed in the direction of Mariupol.

During general inspection, the border guards and workers of the SFS found mining equipment in the vehicle.

Representatives of the SFSU drew up a protocol on administrative violation under Part 1 of Art. 204-3 (Violation of the procedure for movement of goods to the area or from the area of anti-terrorist operation), the assessment amount was about $46 thousand.

It is established that this equipment belongs to one of the mines in Donetsk, which is gradually being stolen. The man was able to bring the equipment through the militants' checkpoint, paying them a certain amount.

He planned to sell the equipment in the future. The decision on the legality of his actions will be taken by the court.
