Officers of the FSB of Russia have detained fishermen from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. It is reported by the press service of the Donetsk-Luhansk State Border Service of Ukraine.
"Making unlawful demands for recovery of money from fishermen in favor of the occupational administration, the self-proclaimed bodies under the control of the Russian Federation responsible for managing the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine force people to risk and search for the best catch off the coast of the aggressor country, being in danger of being detained by representatives of the FSB border service of the Russian Federation", - the report said.
In particular, today, the Coast Guard of the Border Service of the FSB detained two citizens of Ukraine who were fishing in small size boats in the sea near the village of Vesiolo-Vozniesienka (RF). Ukrainian fishermen appeared to be in Taganrog Bay from the temporarily occupied settlement of Kholodne.
At the same time, the border department of the FSB of the Russian Federation has already informed the media about the lack of permission to catch aquatic biological resources from Ukrainians and opening of a lawsuit case against them.
"At the same time, the border guards of the aggressor country do not report that it is impossible for citizens who are forced to be under Russian occupation to obtain such permission, and the responsibility for violating the protection of the rights of civilians lies entirely with the Russian Federation as an occupying state", - the Donetsk-Luhansk administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine notes.
Border guards from the Joint Forces remind fishermen of the dangerous situation that has now developed in the Sea of Azov. "In order to preserve your freedom, you should always carry identification documents with you, go out to sea from the established mooring places and not go too far from the coast", - the department warns.
