The Kremlin began to prepare "observers" for "local elections" in fake "republics" in Donbass
The Kremlin started work on the preparation and holding of illegal local "elections" in occupied Donbass. It is reported by Apostrof.
Vladislav Surkov, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, is involved in the process coordination, the Russian diplomatic corps is instructed to attract the maximum number of loyal observers.
Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov met with the leaders of the DPR, LPR on January 20th and the parties discussed the technical aspects of the future local elections. According to available information, demonstration "elections" are planned to be held not according to Ukrainian but their own "republican legislation" not later than the second half of April. At the end of January corresponding statements of the leaders of the LPR-DPR appeared in the media, in which they expressed the need to conduct elections, without which "it is impossible to solve the administrative, economic and international issues."
