International military exercises Clear Sky 2018 start in Ukraine

Multinational joint aviation exercises Clear Sky 2018 began in Ukraine, - reports the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States on its official Facebook page.

"9 countries are taking part in the 12-day multinational joint exercises: Belgium, the UK, Denmark, Estonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the USA and Ukraine The U.S. Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagles and Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules - partners of Ukraine in the framework of the US European Command's State Partnership Program - have already arrived at the site", - statement says.

It is noted that the exercises are aimed at increasing regional capabilities to protect the sovereignty of the airspace and strengthen peace and security by improving cooperation, interaction and compatibility between partners in the Alliance and other allies in the region.
