Occupation authorities of the "DNR" have recognized that intestinal infection in Makiivka sent to hospitals more than 100 people. This is stated in the report of the fake "Ministry of Health of the republic".

"As of today, 85 people have been discharged out of all patients admitted to the hospital during the outbreak of acute intestinal infection in Makiivka, another seven adults and nine children are being treated", - the report said.

At the same time, the occupation authorities claim that the reason for the mass poisoning of people is not in the poorly purified drinking tap water.

Allegedly, "only five percent of the patients who sought medical help associate have the disease of acute intestinal infection with the use of unboiled tap water". A certain virological laboratory says that it examined 28 samples of drinking tap water in the Hirnytskyi district of Makiivka and detected no harmful impurities.

In this case, it can be stated that the situation with mass poisoning in occupied Makiika is even more serious. If everything is in order with water and even patients calm the local authorities, telling that they took the beds in the hospital not because of drinking water from the water supply system at all, then the cause of the intestinal infection is still not determined.

As previously reported, at the end of September, information about the outbreak of infectious diseases in Makiivka appeared. It was unambiguously associated by the residents of Makiivka with deterioration in the quality of drinking water. The locals reported in social networks that tap water in Makiivka has a clear chemical smell. "People are being poisoned", - they reported.

Commissioner of the Ukrainian Parliament for Human Rights in Donbass Pavlo Lysyansky reported on September 28 that 117 people were hospitalized in occupied Makiivka in connection with alleged poisoning with drinking water.
