Nationalists demand to simplify the procedure for obtaining citizenship by foreign ATO fighters (PHOTOS)

A rally is being held near the Ukrainian parliament in support of foreign citizens - veterans of ATO, OstroV’s correspondent reports.

There are several hundred participants, they hold the symbols of the National Corps.

“There is one requirement - the defenders of the Ukrainian land should receive Ukrainian citizenship”, - the organizers of the rally say.

Activists demand from people's deputies to adopt a bill №3433, which provides for a simplified procedure for obtaining Ukrainian citizenship for foreign soldiers of ATO, a moratorium on extradition of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war to foreign states (in particular, the Russian Federation) and a migration amnesty.

As previously reported, the nationalists picketed the Prosecutor General’s office in protest against the extradition of Timur Tumgoev (former ATO fighter, a native of Ingushetia) to the Russian Federation.
