Russian border guards did not let creator of the terrorist Vostok Battalion Alexander Khodakovsky pass from the territory of the Russian Federation, so he would not be able to take part in the so-called "election" in CDDO. Khodakovsky wrote about this on Telegram.
"I have to explain why I will not be able to take part in the election. Last night, returning home from Russia, Russian border guards at the Uspensky border point explained to me in plain but correct form that they would not let me pass, and that I need to return to Russia. They did not name the reasons, but they are understandable", - he reported.
Earlier, Russian political analyst Alexey Chesnakov, who is part of team of the Kremlin curator of the occupied Donbass Vladislav Surkov, stated that current leaders Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik would guaranteedly win the illegal elections of heads of the terrorist "republics" of Donbass.
Alexander Khodakovsky is a former employee of the SBU, he betrayed the oath and from the first days of the Russian hybrid war against Ukraine became one of the leaders of the Donbass terrorists. He created and led the Vostok Battalion. Currently, he is moved away from all official posts in the "DNR". He was in the confrontation with now-deceased Alexander Zakharchenko. He stands for an idea of Donbass accession to Russia. In the fall of 2017, he announced his desire to compete for the post of "head of the republic" in the "scheduled election". Having faced with the tough response of the occupation authorities to his oppositionism and ambitiousness, Khodakovskiy left the territory of "DNR" in the spring of 2018 and stopped his journalistic activity for some time. After liquidation of leader of the "republic" Alexander Zakharchenko, he hurried to draw attention to himself again.
