321 people's deputies voted for the corresponding decision.

The purpose of amendments proposed by the draft law is to provide a legislative framework for the irreversibility of strategic course for the acquisition of full-fledged membership of Ukraine in the European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the Constitution of Ukraine.

It is also proposed to exclude provision on the stay of foreign military formations on the territory of Ukraine, in particular, on the basing of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the Crimea, from the Constitution.

After consideration of the bill by the Constitutional Court, the Verkhovna Rada will be able to consider and adopt it.
