Ukraine is entering a serious political crisis in connection with the statement of Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius on his resignation. Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman stated it after the meeting with the head of Needs Assessment Mission of the European Parliament Pat Cox, - reports RBK-Ukraina.

"With regard to the resignation (of Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius - Ed.). It is obvious to everyone that we are entering a serious political crisis and I believe that this crisis must be solved by representatives of the political parties together with the President of the country to stabilize the situation," - said Groisman.

According to him, the investigation of the announced facts of pressure on the work of the MEDT by the first deputy chairman of the PPB faction Igor Kononenko will be test for NABU.

"I believe that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau should give a clear and quick answer in public. If we prove at least some charges towards Kononenko, he must be held accountable. I believe that this is a test for the Anti-Corruption Bureau," - said Groisman.
