Prosecutor General's Office to investigate Azarov's gas embezzlement in absentia

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has received permission for a specialpre-trial investigation of former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on suspicion of LNG seizing. Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko reported this on his Facebook.

"Yesterday we received a permit for a special pre-trial investigation on M. Azarov, who is suspected of embezzlement of liquefied gas for about 77.5 million dollars in complicity with other members of the criminal organization of V. Yanukovych. In the near future, the Prosecutor General's Office plans to open the case materials to the defense and send it to the court", - the Prosecutor General reported.
