According to the minister, his department will "advance them formally" "in the coming days"." "Russia has violated everything that was possible in this treaty, beginning with the preamble, and all the articles", - he noted.

Klimkin drew attention to the fact that this problem, apart from political, has an emotional side. "Well, what kind of friendship, what kind of cooperation can we talk about?!" - he stressed.

The Foreign Minister promised to write a post with a list of evidence of Russia's violation of this agreement in social networks on Friday.

As reported, on August 28, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was preparing to break the basic treaty on friendship with the Russian Federation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declined to comment on this statement, urging to wait for particular actions from Kyiv.
