In the area of the Joint Forces Operation on August 28, Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire five times. This was reported by the JFO headquarters. The enemy provided aimed fire from grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. During one of the shelling, Russian occupation forces used heavy weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. So, the enemy shelled the Joint Forces' positions near the settlement of Novomykhailivka from 82 mm mortars. Our positions were fired from the other types of weapons in the areas of Krymske, Popasna and Krasnohorivka settlements. In the event of a threat to the lives of servicemen, the commanders made a decision to fire on the enemy in order to force him to stop the shelling.

From September 1, entry-exit checkpoints in the Donetsk oblast 1 will begin to work on a new schedule. With the beginning of autumn, the order of the Joint Forces Operation commander comes into force, according to which the passage of citizens and vehicles through the checkpoint will be carried out from 07:00 to 18:30. In this connection, the checkpoint will work for two and a half hours less. Now the entry-exit operations are carried out from 06.00 to 20.00.

The militants provided security guarantees to the Ukrainian party for carrying out repair works of a number of important infrastructure facilities in the Donetsk oblast. This was stated by the Joint Forces commander, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.

The "DNR" propagandists invented a certain village of Russkiy Krai on the outskirts of occupied Horlivka. This is evidenced by the report of "operational command" of the militants. The occupiers traditionally accused the JFO units of shelling residential areas. The verity of this message raises doubts for a number of reasons. First of all, not a single map, including the most detailed ones, shows a village with this name in the area of Horlivka. The natives of Horlivka have never heard of it.

Maiorske checkpoint in the Donetsk oblast resumed check-in operations from 6 a.m. on August 28 upon the decision of the JFO commander. This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Officials of occupied Makiivka, imitating the success of their work, made fake protocols about the non-existent administrative violations. This is stated in the message of the so-called "Prosecutor General's Office of the DNR". The fake department revealed the facts of writing out the protocols "on dead souls" or for offenses that citizens could not commit even if they wanted to. "A significant number of protocols are drawn up against fictitious persons who did not live in the republic or were not registered at certain addresses; for cluttering balconies in apartments on the ground floors where balconies are not provided constructively; for dog walking against citizens who did not have animals; for the installation of non-existent tambour doors and taps in the central heating system", - the prosecutor's office complains. It is noted that a fact was revealed when in the summer of 2018, the "officials" made a report regarding a citizen who died in May 2016! In this case, this citizen even "signed" this document.
