There will be no war in Donbass - Joint Forces Commander

Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev has stated that there would be no war in the Donbass. He said this at the board of Donetsk Regional State Administration on Thursday.

"I tell you with all responsibility that there will be no war in the Donbass. The Joint Forces act solely to prevent the military conflict", - he said.

Nayev stressed that the Joint Forces consciously make every step for this purpose and this "will be confirmed by particular actions".

The JF Commander called the present at the board heads of cities and districts to build a peaceful Donetsk region. Security in the controlled territory will be provided by the Joint Forces, - he stressed.
