The militant was shot by representatives of illegal armed formations while trying to surrender to the Ukrainian military in the Mariupol direction. This is reported by the press center of the JFO.

It is noted that tonight in the Mariupol direction the militant from the 9th separate assault regiment attempted to cross the line of demarcation and move to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

"It is known that the Russian mercenary had financial problems with his colleagues, but he could not get to our troops. The enraged "creditors" shot their former comrade", - the report said.

With the help of soldiers of one of the JFO Marine Corps units, the body was taken to the morgue of one of the hospitals in Mariupol.
