Russia has not yet responded to the initiative of Ukraine on the exchange of Russians held in Ukraine against Ukrainian citizens imprisoned in the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories. This was stated at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Wednesday by first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"There is still no response from the Russian Federation regarding Ukraine's initiative on our readiness to hand over 36 Russians who committed crimes in Ukraine, in order for Russia to liberate Ukrainian citizens", - I. Herashchenko said.
