The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmyla Denisova has announced the continuation of development of a roadmap for her admission to Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia. She said this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's coordination board in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"We offer and we will emphasize that the admission of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation to the citizens they want to visit will be based on reciprocity and synchronism. So and in no other way", - she stated.

According to Denisova, the development of a roadmap for admission to Ukrainian political prisoners in the Russian Federation continues.

"I continue working on the creation of a roadmap. You know that they talked about some memorandums and some schedules, that starting, for example, in August, and perhaps, from September, we will start to visit our citizens. We have four people on a hunger strike. Therefore, we will try to do it urgently, so that we will admit everyone, as the Russian president promised", - she said.

Lyudmyla Denisova stressed that it was the Russian party that violated the agreement on visiting political prisoners.

"I have to admit that the agreements were violated by the Russian Federation. We were allowed to none of our guys. I think that you followed my movements. The court decisions were adopted, for example, by the local Moscow court. They did not admit, they changed their decision. My trip to Karpliuk was agreed, I arrived and they did not let me in. You know that I was twice in Labytnangi, near the gate where Oleр Sentsov is being held, but nothing happened. They came up with some other proofs why I cannot visit them", - the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights said.

"The key goal of my trip was to convince our political prisoners that we are fighting for them, and I think that it was achieved", - Denisova summed up.
