Cabinet approves candidacy of Oleksandr Kuts for Donetsk Regional Administration Head – Zhebrivsky

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the candidacy of General of the State Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Kuts for the post of Chairman of Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration. Former Head of the Administration, Pavlo Zhebrivsky said this on TV Channel 5.

“This is not a secret. Today the Cabinet has approved SBU General Kuts for this post. I believe that soon the President will consider this candidacy and issue a decree”, - Zhebrivsky said.

Previously, 41yo Kuts had been the head of the SBU department in Donetsk oblast (2015-2017). In August 2017, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, appointed Kuts as the Chief of the General Directorate of the Security Service in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
