Afghan War veterans hold a protest in Kyiv downtown and block the traffic (PHOTO)

OstroV’s correspondent reports about a rally of Afghan War veterans and law enforcement agencies in the center of Kyiv.

They hold posters saying "Hands off the benefits of participants and disabled war veterans", "We are patient, but the longest day must have an end", "We demand the fulfillment of social guarantees and obligations from the state".

Earlier, they blocked traffic on Hrushevskoho Street, but later it was unblocked. Currently, the rally takes place under the walls of the Ukrainian parliament.

Their main requirement is not to reduce benefits and social standards for the war and security agencies veterans.
