Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov recognized the need for further coordination on the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbass. The head of the Ukrainian foreign ministry reported this at a briefing after the meeting of the Normandy Four foreign ministers in Berlin.

"Today's meeting after a long pause was really useful. It showed that we, together with Germany and France, have a clear common position on all issues, we can push the Russian position in a coordinated manner (in particular, Mr. Lavrov). And in some cases he was forced to admit that the Russian position on certain points should be further discussed", - Klimkin said.

"It is his recognition of the need for further discussions on the future peacekeeping mission, and the release of political prisoners and hostages, that can be considered as a result, a very small result", - the Foreign Minister stressed.
