The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a petition for giving consent to bring MP Oleksandr Vilkul to trial. This was reported by the spokeswoman of Prosecutor General Larysa Sarhan on her Facebook page.

"In 2011-2012, the former chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration issued an order to change the designation of 21 hectares of land parcels, allegedly from the lands of agricultural purposes (pastures), but, in fact, from the lands of collective ownership of the shareholders of two agricultural enterprises of the Nikopol district”, - she noted.

Also, according to her, he issued an order to change the targeted use of 23 land parcels with a total area of more than 45 hectares, which were owned by the LLC ART LAND, from agricultural lands to industrial lands.

The petition has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
