The governor of Donetsk region told about the only meeting with Akhmetov: discussed "rules of the game"

Chairman of Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Zhebrivskyi considered "rules of the game", that should be in the region, during a single meeting with the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov. The governor told it in an interview to Gazeta.ua.

"Once I met with Rinat Akhmetov. We considered the rules that have to be on the territory of Donetsk region. First of all, I talked about single Ukrainian area. Akhmetov said that for him Donetsk region was Ukraine", - said Zhebrivskyi.

According to him, the sides also discussed salaries, taxes, environment. During the meeting they also agreed to prepare an environmental program shortly – in compliance with the European parameters.

"According to their parameters, many businesses have to close. This will not lead to anything good. But if we develop a three-year programme and carry out it quarterly, we will save jobs, taxes and comply with environmental regulations. The meeting was on equal terms. There is a governor. There is a businessman. Well, a big one, perhaps the biggest in the country. But there are authorities that perform public functions,"- said the head of the region.
