Ukrainian fishing vessel, detained in the Black Sea waters on Friday by Russian special services, had a permission to fish for 12 nautical miles of the internal sea. This was stated by assistant to the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodian, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"This vessel had a permission to fish within 12 nautical miles. They had no right to go beyond this border, therefore the captain of the ship alone is responsible for what happened because of their access to the inland territorial waters", - he said.

According to him, on the return of the ship's captain and crew members, a corresponding conversation will be held with them.

As previously reported, Russian border guards detained a Ukrainian fishing vessel (port of registration - Ochakiv) west of Cape Tarkhankut in the annexed Crimea.
