Militants shelled the AFU positions in Donbass 22 times over the past day: three soldiers wounded

Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action during the hostilities in the area of the Joint Forces Operation on 2 May, - press center of the JFO reports.

Over the past day, May 2, the situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone remained tense. The armed hostilities continued mainly in Avdiivka and Mariupol directions. Ukrainian units performed active defense. The enemy used artillery and mortars 22 times.

"Three of our soldiers were injured in combat and promptly evacuated to a hospital. Their condition is satisfactory", - the report said.

According to intelligence data, over the past day, May 2, the enemy casualties were four WIAs. Ukrainian soldiers did not hinder their evacuation.

Overnight, there was a relative calm along the contact line.
