"Half a million citizens will be left without water". "DNR" militants blackmail by stopping the DFS

Militants of the "DNR" state that the communal enterprise "The Company Voda Donbassa" plans to stop the work of the Donetsk filtering station. They planned the evacuation of the station's personnel on the morning of April 18. This was stated by the so-called "head of the “DNR” representation" in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov, - the separatist agency DAN reports.

"On April 18, with the assistance of the OSCE SMM and the participation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DNR, the personnel of the Donetsk filtering station will be evacuated. After that, the process of stopping the station will begin, followed by the conservation of the facility", - Yakubov stated.

He threatened that "stopping the work of the station is fraught with ecological catastrophe, because more than half a million citizens on both sides of the line of contact are at risk without drinking water".

On April 17, the "DNR" militants unfoundedly accused the AFU of shelling bus with DFS workers. At the same time, the propagandists of the "DNR" stated that the AFU had wounded five DFS employees with a single bullet.

At the same time, Voda Donbassa confirms the fact of the shelling of the bus with the DFS employees, but does not indicate which side it was fired from.
