There are still no specific plans for the meeting of the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. This was told by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian head of state, TASS writes.

"There are no agreements [on this issue], in fact, there are no special contacts yet", - he said, refuting the assumption that the summit could take place in April.

"We are still waiting", - the press secretary said. "Probably, it is worth waiting for when the candidacy of the U.S. Secretary of State will be formalized", - he told. "There is an active agreement between Putin and Trump that they will instruct the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary of State to work on the timing and venue of this meeting", - Peskov recalled.
