"DNR" is trying to "disarm" a militant with a call sign "Machete" in the occupied Debaltseve
The "DNR" is trying to "disarm" a militant Yuri Sviridov (call sign "Machete") who is wanted in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast for the murder of a young woman in Debaltseve. This was reported by the "DNR" militant group Mikhail Polynkov (call sign "Hrustalik") on his Facebook page.
In early October 2017, one of the militants Yuri Sviridov was put on the wanted list. At first, it was reported that he was a "deserter", and later it became known that he had killed his subordinate, who was in her last months of pregnancy.
Mikhail Polynkov, who was one of the closest associates of the former "Defence Minister" of the "DNR" Igor Girkin (Strelkov) and coordinated the recruitment of militants, wrote: "Right now, we are trying to "disarm Yuri “Machete”. The territory in Debaltseve, where Yuri lived, is surrounded by the "Veter" fighters. The commander of the 7th Brigade arrived at the site. “Machete” and those who are with him, do not intend to give in. It is hard to say how all this will end".
According to him, "Machete" returned to Debaltseve to allegedly prove his innocence.
