Poroshenko named the only option for the liberation of the Donbass

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has stated that a UN peacekeeping mission is the only option for the liberation of the Donbass from the occupiers and that it should be deployed there as soon as possible.

In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote: “I will do everything possible so that a UN peacekeeping mission be deployed in occupied Donbass as soon as possible. This is the only option that can stop the murder of Ukrainians, both civilians and servicepersons, and that can resume the Ukrainian sovereignty in the occupied Donbass. Russia’s withdrawal from the occupied territories would be enough".
