The head of the self-proclaimed "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko said that no one was going to cancel the results of the election of November 2nd, 2014 in the republic, because they were "conducted in full compliance with democratic standards and have absolutely legitimate status." It is reported by RIA Novosti.

"The basis of this election is the referendum May 11th, 2014, which fully reflected the will of the people, so no one will cancel the election results of the November 2nd," - said Zakharchenko, commenting on the statement of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the need to cancel the election results.

Zakharchenko considers that the pseudo-elections in the "DPR" of November 2nd, 2014 was held "in full compliance with democratic standards and have absolutely legitimate status."

"Poroshenko tries to do everything to disrupt the Minsk agreements but pretend that they are fulfilled. The set of measures clearly specified what and when should be done. There is nothing about the cancellation of the election results," - said Zakharchenko.

As previously reported, both "referendum" of May 11th and "elections" of November 2nd were held under the Russian occupation of Donbass without voter lists but with ballot papers, which had no protection against counterfeiting. The process of voting and counting were not monitored by independent observers. No country in the world, including Russia, has officially recognized the results of the fake "referendum" and "elections".
