Day in ATO zone: one Ukrainian soldier killed, seven wounded

One Ukrainian soldier was killed, five were wounded and two more were injured as a result of shelling of the AFU positions in ATO zone on February 20. This is reported by press center of the ATO headquarters.

"In total during the past day, the enemy conducted 15 well-aimed attacks. Unfortunately, as a result of the aggressor's actions, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, five soldiers were wounded and two more of our defenders were injured", - the report said.

On the Luhansk direction, the enemy became active near Troitske, where he was firing from artillery mounts of 122 and 100 mm caliber, mortars, IFV weapons, anti-aircraft mount and grenade launchers for several hours. Illegal armed formations used 82-caliber mortars and small arms not far from Krymske and Svitlodarsk. The defenders of Katerynivka were fired from an anti-tank missile system and grenade launchers.

The coastal area of defence was the epicenter of tension on the Donetsk direction. The militants used 120-mm mortars near the settlements of Lebedynske and Lomakyne. Also, they fired on Ukrainian strong points near Pisky from 82-mm caliber mortars, IFV weapons and large-caliber machine guns, and in the suburb of Avdiivka — from automatic grenade launchers.
