Two villages in Donetsk region, which previously were in the "grey zone", are now controlled by the Ukrainian military. The head of the Security and cooperation in  Ukraine-Cascu public organization Semen Kabakaev informed about that on Facebook.

According to him, Pavlopol and Pishchevik villages located near Mariupol were previously considered as "grey zone".

"Ukrainian military started to control 2 villages of the grey zone, Pavlopol and Pishchevik", – said he.

The General Staff confirmed the information on the return of control over Pavlopol and Pishchevik in Donetsk region, located in the "grey zone".

"These two villages, both Pavlopol and Pishevik, were in the so-called "grey zone". That is a line that runs along the boundary line of the parties. There was Gnutovo checkpoint near Gnutovo village, on the road from Pavlopolto Mariupol. Now, the checkpoint will be moved to Pishchevik area, a little closer to the grey zone. These two villages were not under the control of gangs of illegal units, there simply had no administration, no legitimate Ukrainian government. Now there will be a military commander, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, emergency services, military and civil administration. In Pavlopol buses routes to Mariupol will be resumed", - said the speaker of the General Staff Vladislav Voloshin on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
