More than $13.5 million were transferred to treasury accounts to pay debts on wages to miners. This was reported by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion in Facebook.

"I thank the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Antimonopoly Committee and the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry for prompt execution of the tasks set yesterday. $13.5 million have just been transferred to accounts of state coal enterprises to pay debts on wages to miners for previous years", - he noted.

It was previously reported that about 100 people had gathered near the building of Selydivvuhillia state-owned enterprise in the morning of February 14 with the main demand - to pay miners' wage arrears. Later, the participants of the rally blocked two roads from Selydove. The buses that transported the miners of the second shift were also blocked.
