Miners' riot in Selydove and Novohrodivka: two roads are blocked, tents are being installed

Miners and members of their families, who demand payment of debts on wages, has put tents and cast-iron stoves in Novohrodivka. This is reported chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets on his Facebook.

Earlier, it was reported that about 100 people had gathered near the building of Selydivvuhillia state-owned enterprise in the morning of February 14 with the main demand - to pay miners' wage arrears.

The participants of the rally blocked two roads from Selydove: the first one leads to Kurakhove, Marinka and Krasnohorivka and is of strategic importance, the second one leads to Novohrodivka.

The buses that transported the miners of the second shift were also blocked. "It seems that the third shift of employees of the mines Kotlyarevskoho and Novohrodivska will not enter the mines, while rioters install tents in Novohrodivka", - Volynets wrote.

There also will be a meeting at the Kotlyarevskoho mine, where employees are going to make a protocol decision not to descend into the mine and demand payment of salary arrears.

The mentioned mines are parts of Selydivvuhillia state-owned enterprise along with Kurakhivska and Ukrayina mines.
