Odesa Mayor Trukhanov notified of criminal charges

Agents of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) notified Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, about suspicion of committing a criminal offense and detained him. Oleh Slobodyan, the Assistant of Chairman of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this to 112 Ukraine.

“Today the border guards fulfilled the order of the law enforcement body towards this person, informed the initiator and then the prosecutors of the NABU arrived who served the charges on him”, - Slobodyan noted.

The NABU confirmed that Trukhanov was served charges and his detention at the interview to Ukrainian News. “Trukhanov arrived from Warsaw (Poland) to Boryspil Airport where he was detained by the border guards and transferred to the NABU detectives. At the moment, Trukhanov is transported to the building of the NABU for the questioning”, - the NABU noted.

As previously reported, Odesa Mayor Trukhanov was detained today immediately upon arrival from Warsaw to Kyiv.
