The Verkhovna Rada has passed bill No 5045 on the protection of housing rights for orphans and children deprived of parental care, - 112.ua reports.
255 people's deputies casted an affirmative vote. According to the document, orphans and children deprived of parental care, who have reached the age of 16 and who are registered with internally displaced persons, have the right to register as citizens who need better housing conditions and social housing records at the place of their registration as internally displaced persons.
The law will come into force one month after the day of its official publication.
