The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine rejected the decree on the cancelation of the adoption of the draft law 'On peculiarities of the state policy on the provision of the state sovereignty of Ukraine over occupied territories of the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts', OstroV’s correspondent reports.

The MPs rejected that decree of the Opposition Bloc: 37 MP voted for and 158 voted against the decree.

"This opens the way to signing a law on deoccupation”, - Andriy Parubiy, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament said.

Now he can sign the draft law and submit it for the sign of Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine.

"This law contradicts all international agreements that our state has on the way to restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine", - said the MP from the Opposition Block and co-author of the decree Yuriy Boyko.

As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian parliament adopted as a whole the bill on the state policy aiming to secure the sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts on January 18. The Opposition Bloc blocked the signing of the draft law on Donbas reintegration on January 19.
