Russian NTV accused the Verkhovna Rada deputy of desire to recognize all residents of CDDLO as terrorists

NTV Russian propaganda channel has manipulatively accused people's deputy of Ukraine Oksana Korchynska of desire to recognize all residents of the occupied Donbass as terrorists. Such an interpretation of the amendment to draft law "On peculiarities of the state policy of restoration of state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporary occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts" is available on the TV channel's website.

Commenting on the non-effective voting for one of the amendments, made by the Ukrainian deputy, propagandists of the Russian Federation write: "The purpose of the amendment was to recognize all residents of the DNR and the LNR as terrorists and to secure the status of terrorist organizations of the self-proclaimed republics".

There is nothing like that in the amendments of Oksana Korchynska. The text of her attachment to the bill on the Donbass reintegration literally means: "The "Donetsk People's Republic" and the "Luhansk People's Republic" organizations, which carry out administrative and managerial functions on the territory of certain districts of the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts, are recognized as terrorist organizations".

There is nothing about any peaceful terrorist residents, only about the leaders of occupation administrations.

As previously reported, this amendment did not find support in the parliament, which gave grounds for Russian and separatist media to make loud statements that the Verkhovna Rada had refused to recognize the "DNR" and the "LNR" as terrorist organizations.
